Summer magic family inforMATION- please read before register

We recommend you sign up for Summer Magic online by June 3rd to avoid the lines at the first day of registration in person.
The first day you bring your child, complete your child's registration/permission form. Be sure to fill it out completely and sign your child in prior to leaving.
Each day after that a parent/guardian will need to sign in their child/children on the quick sign in form. We also require parent/guardian to sign out their child/children and SHOW ID when picking them up. This is for their safety and your piece of mind.
Be sure to notify the Director if someone else will ever pick up your child/children or if there is anyone who is NOT permitted to take him/her from the site. IF A PARENT is not allowed pickup this needs to be given to us via court order or per law we have to allow parents to pick up.
You MUST pick your child up promptly at 5:00 p.m

There will be a $5.00 a day charge per each child attending.
$125.00 will pay for the entire summer at registration at a discounted rate. This discount saves you $25 and equates to $4.16 per day.
On the online application there will be options for a scholarship. If you select this option you will pay $3 per day and PCA will pick up the additional $2 per day.

If it is raining at 9am our directors will update you on REMIND and FB Site: Newaygo County PCA
If it is nice out and we start at the park site then bad weather hits, please come AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to pick your child up. Directors will make phone calls for pick up ½ hour after bad weather hits if your child has not been picked up. We do not have transportation to take children to an alternate site

We have certified lifeguards on staff at our Newaygo and Fremont locations.
Staff are in the water to watch children while they are swimming and do an out of water head count routinely. Children are not past touching and there is also a sand option.
Please have children bring their own towel, sunscreen and lifejacket if needed. It is easiest if children start the day with their swimsuit on under their clothes.

Please SEND sunscreen and apply waterproof sunscreen to your child before they arrive. We regret that we can no longer supply sunscreen, but can assist in spraying sunscreen. Please have your child practice sunscreen application.
Medications must be in the original container with the child’s name on it and a medical slip completed on file.
Make sure your child has appropriate shoes.

We have a policy in place should there be any behavior issues and you’ll be notified with a parent letter if there are any concerns.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please refrain from bringing personal items to the site and keep phones at home. The best way to bring items is in a backpack with their towel, water bottle, sunscreen with a swimsuit already on UNDER their clothes.
FREE lunches are available to all children under age 18. NOTE: If your child has allergies please pack their own lunch. We use the meet up and eat up program so do not have a lunch schedule.
Snack and Juice is provided everyday. PLEASE bring a water bottle EACH DAY for refills.
Our staff have FRIDAYS OFF and will not go to the site to get left belongings. Please check that you have all items on Thursday. Please check the lost and found bins frequently.
